There's really nothing special here. I really just wanted to try my new neon pink and I have been doing too many simple gradients lately, so I jazzed it up a bit with some sparkly triangles. I believe this picture was taken a few days of wear. Tools Used:

I just bought my first neon polishes and what better way to start using them. Trust me, they are much brighter in person! Tools Used:

This mani was inspired by a fabulous and extremely talented "remix artist", Nick Bertke (aka POGO). This design is based off his logo, which will be clear when you see it. And yes, I'm forcing you to go to his website to see it because I think it will be an enlightening experience for you :) I first learned of POGO when a friend of mine stumbled across his Harry Potter remix video on Youtube and I haven't looked back. His songs are phenomenal and his videos are breathtaking. I urge you all to visit his website POGOMIX.NET and watch all his videos - there are even more posted on his Youtube page. I will put a couple of my favorites at the bottom of this post for your viewing pleasure. Fun Fact: The "highlight" of my POGO fandom was when my sister and I drove 5.5 hours to Milwaukee to see him perform live. Once we reached the venue, we were informed by the surly bouncer that he had been deported from the USA the day before and isn't allowed back in the country for 10 years thanks to a glitch in his paperwork. That was a very sad day, but it now gives me an excuse to travel out of the country again. The best word to describe this mani is 'frustrating'. I haven't been this irritated with a design since the Mario Mushrooms I did with the same green polish. My downfall was definitely rushing through it so I could get to bed at a reasonable hour. All in all it took about 3 hours to complete, and really, it should have been more. Instead of letting the black & silver polishes fully dry when I had the tape on, I almost immediately took the tape off and that peeled the points of the star busts off with it. I had to go back and touch a lot of it up, and even still, it didn't turn out so great. I really wanted this design to come out looking pristine because it's just so cute! But lesson learned - don't rush a cute mani. Click here for the Star Burst Tutorial. Side note: Never use Sally Hansen Complete Manicure polishes when you are doing a light color on top of it. The silver looked fine before I put the top coat on, but after the top coat, the silver turned into a greenish-yellow (the same thing happened when I used this polish for the Mario Mushrooms). It must be the top coat that they include in the polish that discolors anything you put on top of it. Polishes Used:
